Invested nearly USD 14,500,000, the intelligent workshop of Huaxiang Refractories enables full-process intelligent control of the refractory production line. The automation and networking rate of the equipment are both 100%. It has raised the annual production capacity to 120,000 tons. Its three core processes are collaboratively managed by DCS and MES systems, with a 100% rate of automatic data collection and control.
1. Intelligent Process
• Crushing and powder production: DCS system controls automation equipment to crush and grind raw materials into qualified powder.
• Feeding and batching: Customize DCS system to control the material bin, achieve automatic material blending, and environmentally friendly treatment of dust and exhaust gas.
• Automated production: AGV+robotic arm transfer palletizing, automatic packaging after high-precision pressing and intelligent sintering, and unmanned entire process.
2. Highlights of Intelligent Equipment
• Intelligent roller drying kiln: Continuous firing in multiple temperature zones, intelligent temperature control+MES system management, thermal insulation and energy-saving, and equipped with desulfurization and denitrification equipment, being environmentally friendly.
• Full-Automatic Hydraulic Press/Press: Precise control by PLC, ingredient accuracy up to 0.3%, production efficiency more than 4 times higher than traditional equipment, high brick qualification rate and low loss.
• AGV/RGV Intelligent Transportation: Completes automatic transportation of semi-finished/finished products between processes, cooperates with robotic arms to achieve integrated stacking and transportation, intelligent path planning, and real-time fault alarm.
• Quality and data control: The production line is equipped with intelligent detection equipment and 3D vision system to comprehensively and real-time detect product quality; Realize full process quality traceability through unique identification codes, synchronize data to MES system, accurately control quality, and quickly locate problems.
The construction of Huaxiang Refractories's intelligent workshop for high-performance refractory materials has achieved automation and digital control of various production processes, which not only greatly improves production efficiency and product quality, but also forms industry leading advantages in green production and quality traceability, setting a practical benchmark for the intelligent transformation of the refractory material industry.
