Magnesia alumina spinel bricks are eco-friendly, chromium-free basic refractories sintered at high temperature from magnesia and bauxite. Featuring outstanding thermal shock resistance, basic slag corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength, they outperform traditional magnesia and magnesia chrome bricks, serving as ideal lining materials for industrial high-temperature kilns.
They are primarily used in the burning and transition zones of cement rotary kilns. Operating steadily at 1300℃–1450℃, these areas suffer from continuous basic slag erosion, material scouring and frequent temperature changes. The bricks effectively resist liquid phase penetration and slag damage with low cracking and spalling risks, perfectly adapting to high-load continuous cement kiln operation and greatly extending lining service life.
They are also applicable to glass furnace regenerators, lime kilns and small metallurgical heating furnaces, fitting complex working conditions of frequent start-stop, sharp temperature fluctuations and air flow scouring. Additionally, they suit chemical and light industrial high-temperature kilns without strong reducing atmospheres or severe acidic slag scouring. Not suitable for environments with heavy acidic slag erosion and extreme intense scouring, the bricks shall be selected based on actual on-site conditions.
